The 2018 Interweave Yarn Fest is slated to be held from April 12th to the 15th at the Embassy Suites Loveland Hotel in Loveland, Colorado. Vendors and teachers from all over the world will gather along with fibers artists to celebrate their crafts. Crochet and other yarn art classes are available and are taught by leaders in their field. Attending Yarn Fest will give you a chance to meet and connect with crochet and yarn lovers from all over, plus the marketplace offers a plethora of yarn and fiber.

Why You Should Go to Yarn Fest

Let’s Go Shopping!

I live in a rural town which means I have to drive a ways to find a yarn store. Sure, we have WalMart, but they don’t carry anything offbeat or exciting. Imagine walking into the Marketplace at the Yarn Fest and having access to over 50 vendors. These vendors offer everything a yarn artist would want. Beautiful squishy yarn in deep rich colors and fibers, accessories for knit, crochet, weaving, tatting, and more, patterns, and a chance to chat up the experts.

Sponsors for this year’s Marketplace are Lambspun, LLC, Eugene Textile Center, Susan’s Fiber, and The Stitchin’ Den. Over 50 vendors will offer their wares at Yarn Fest. Here are just a few that will set up shop.

Aniroonz Sheep Company – Located in Colorado, Aniroonz was founded with a love of animals. They have six breeds of sheep and use their wool to create vibrant soft yarn. Their love of the animals comes through in the high quality wool yarn produced.

Bead Biz – Bead Biz offers several types of beads, bling, and yarn. These include beautiful Czech Seed Beads and Miyuki Japanese Seed Beads. Bead kits are available and beading experts will be on hand to answers your questions and give you inspiration.

Enchanted Fibers Guild – Offering a wide variety of yarn including alpaca, silk, bamboo, and mohair blends the Enchanted Fibers Guild has something for every taste. The colors range from deep rich jewel tones to natural and raw fibers.

Longmont Yarn Shoppe– Located in Longmont, Colorado and founded in 2012, Longmont Yarn Shoppe hold classes, offers a wide variety of yarn and supplies, and works to build community. Their motto are We Are Makers, No Maker is Left Behind.

Susan’s Fiber – A supporting sponsor, Susan’s Fiber is a mecca for all things fiber related. They invite the public to come see the Teeswater sheep and the process of creating their high quality wool yarn.

These vendors are just a few who will be at the 2018 Interweave Yarn Fest. All of the vendors will offer high quality yarn and fiber as well as new and exciting supplies. Be sure to visit as many as you can and see what is new in 2018.
