All we ask is that you are respectful, all comments are welcome. Whether you love a blog or not, we want to hear from you. Would you like to write a guest post? If you have a skill, opinion, or review you would like to share, contact us and we’ll discuss a guest blog opportunity with you. We’d love to build a community of crochet lovers to come and share their skills, brag a bit, and learn more about our beloved craft.

Why Crochet?

Personally, I have had a long love affair with crochet. I learned to crochet at my grandmother’s knee when I was nine years old. She used to use fine thread to crochet beautiful lacy borders on the pillow cases she embroidered. Watching her work the fine thread inspired my love of crochet that has lasted a lifetime.

Anyone who loves to crochet knows it is more than just a hobby. It is a way to express your creativity and make things for people you love. You may also make items to sell and like to create your own designs. I really enjoy designing new patterns. It gives me a chance to really stretch my creativity and skills. If you’ve never tried designing your own patterns, give it a try. It’s a lot of starts and stops, but when you finally get it, it is a great feeling to know this is your creation.

Reviews

From time to time we will post reviews of products, books, and other resources. This will be a chance for us to share our opinions and have you give your opinion or share your experiences. There are so many products and books on the market you can choose from. We hope these reviews will help you make informed decisions about your crochet purchases. If you have a book or product you would like to review, be sure to contact us about guest blog posts.

So that is what we have planned for Crochetgasm. Won’t you join us and help build a community centered around the love of crochet? We’re excited to get started, so be on the lookout for new posts. Welcome to Crochetgasm, get some yarn, grab your hook, and make yourself at home!
